1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Lokvia platform (lokvia.com), operated by upbyte® e.K., Schwastrum 60, 24351 Damp, Germany ("we", "us", "Lokvia"). By registering or using Lokvia, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

Lokvia is a digital matching platform that connects property owners with rental agents in Metro Manila, Philippines. The platform facilitates:

• Property listing by owners
• Search profile creation by agents
• Matching and contact request management
• Document sharing between matched parties

Lokvia is not a real estate broker, agent, or marketplace. We do not participate in negotiations, transactions, or rental agreements between users.

3. Registration

To use Lokvia, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Register as either a Property Owner or Rental Agent

4. User Obligations

Users agree to:

• Provide truthful information about properties and services
• Not use the platform for illegal activities
• Respect the privacy of other users
• Not circumvent the platform to contact users outside of Lokvia
• Not scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform

5. Privacy & Data Protection

Owner contact details are protected and only shared after explicit approval. See our Privacy Policy for details on data processing.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software of the Lokvia platform are the property of upbyte® e.K. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Lokvia a license to display it within the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lokvia provides a technology platform only. We are not liable for:

• The accuracy of property listings or agent profiles
• The outcome of any rental transaction
• Disputes between owners and agents
• Loss or damage resulting from platform use

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable German law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
